Return, Exchange & Cancellation Policy

1. Consumer cancellation rights

Consumers buying online may cancel eligible orders without giving a reason within 14 days of receiving the goods.

To cancel, use our online Withdraw from Contract function or email info@labels.ie with your name and order number.

After notifying us, goods must be returned within a further 14 days. The customer is responsible for return postage unless the goods are faulty, damaged, incorrect or misdescribed.

2. Refunds

For valid consumer cancellations, we will refund the product price and the cost of our least expensive standard delivery option.

We may withhold the refund until the goods are returned or evidence of return is provided. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method.

3. Return condition

Goods may be inspected as reasonably necessary. We may reduce the refund where handling beyond this has reduced the product’s value.

Where possible, products should be returned with their original packaging, accessories and documentation.

4. Non-returnable products

The cancellation right does not apply to goods made to the customer’s specifications or clearly personalised, including custom-printed labels.

Opened or used label rolls and tapes are not eligible for our voluntary returns policy. This does not affect the customer’s rights where goods are faulty or misdescribed.

5. Additional 30-day returns

Labels.ie also accepts eligible standard products within 30 days of delivery, provided they are unused, undamaged and suitable for resale.

For returns made after the statutory 14-day period:

  • label rolls and tapes must remain sealed;
  • printers must include their original components and packaging;
  • return postage and original delivery charges are not refundable;
  • clearance and final-sale items are excluded.

6. Faulty or incorrect goods

For faulty, damaged, incorrect or misdescribed goods, contact info@labels.ie with your order number and details of the issue.

Where required by law, Labels.ie will provide an appropriate repair, replacement, price reduction or refund and cover reasonable return costs.

7. Business purchases

Statutory consumer cancellation rights do not apply to purchases made wholly for business purposes. Business returns are subject to our 30-day returns policy and any separately agreed terms.
